This is an archived entry. Information has been updated resulting into an updated entry S-321

In 2012, the NAMA Facility was jointly established by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) and the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). The Danish Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate (EFKM) together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Commission joined the NAMA Facility as new Donors in 2015.

The NAMA Facility provides financial support to developing countries and emerging economies in implementing the most ambitious NAMAs with a high potential for transformational change towards a low-carbon development trajectory.
Total funding made available through the NAMA Facility since its inception is 202 million euro. As of 2016, 14 NAMA Support Projects have been selected for support from the NAMA Facility.

Further information is available at www.nama-facility.org.
