DescriptionOfMitigationAction:
This NAMA seeks to promote the creation of new schemes focused on the elimination of the barrier that currently stop the switch to less carbon intensive fuels for the private industries.<br /> <br /> The main benefits expected from this NAMA are:<br /> 1. Reduction of the use of fossil fuels.<br /> 2. Reduction of 11.43 million tons of CO2e per year once the maximum potencial of the NAMA is reached and the reduction of short lived pollutants.<br /> 3. Promote the diversification of the national energy matrix.<br /> 4. Fortify productivity and competitivity of national industry.<br /> 5. Promote the compliance of international agreements of Mexico against the climate change.
