SupportDescription: <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; line-height: 115%;">Through this Platform ICEX Spain Trade and Investment (Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness) is working in cooperation with other ministries and relevant institutions, including the Spanish Climate Change Office and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation, to catalyze the implementation of nationally appropriate mitigation actions in developing countries. This Platform facilitates the implementation of NAMAs in developing countries by connecting the opportunities that this implementation offers for low carbon development with: i) the Spanish official financial mechanisms and instruments for technological cooperation; ii) the overall solutions, technologies and services offered by the Spanish companies.<br /> <span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; line-height: 115%;">Through a tailor made approach ICEX analyses the potential for public-private cooperation, tools and solutions that could match NAMAs at different stages by:i) identifying and analysing technically the proposed NAMAs by developing countries; ii) identifying the support and cooperation instruments available at the Spanish Administration that could fit the NAMA&acute;s needs and iii) identifying the technological solutions and potential actors for every step of the NAMA&acute;s implementation.</span></span></p>
