SupportProvisioningDescription: ITF Grants are always connected with loan investments provided by one or more Financiers. It is only the Financiers that are entitled to submit Grants requests for infrastructure projects that may be eligible for ITF support, the ITF Secretariat cannot do so directly. A project promoter therefore has to approach one of the Financiers with his project idea. The Financier, if interested in investing in the promoter’s project and if the Financier considers the project to be eligible, will first discuss the project with the other Financiers. As a group they will decide whether or not the project is eligible for ITF Grant support and prepare the submission of the Grant request to the group of ITF Donors.
