The Citizen Epidemiological monitoring systen is meant to complement the efforts carried out by the authorities to outline the incidence of influenza and gastrointestinal diseases. The system has enabled the establishment of a database with about 5986 registered users across the country, which helps identify the presence and location of these diseases in the population living in Mexico.
