Description:
The training materials on vulnerability and adaptation assessment by the Consultative Group of Experts, consists of 10 chapters drawn from the IPCC Fifth Assessment. The training materials provide experts the necessary information to prepare input for the adaptation section of the national communications. The materials provide various sectoral models and are accompanied by relevant regional case studies. In addition, the training materials also provide guidance on how to translate the results of the assessment into policy making at national level, in particular, on how to mainstream adaptation in national developmental programmes and projects.
