Aware™ builds on our team's many years of knowledge and experience in the field of climate change adaptation to help you understand, identify and manage the risks and opportunities that climate change will bring. Our Aware™ tool brings together our international project experience across a broad range of sectors, our knowledge of the latest climate science, and our methodologies that help clients adapt their business systems. Aware™ is an online, climate risk screening tool, designed to help identify and understand the potential risks from climate change to companies and investments. The tool is easy to use, needing no knowledge of climate science. Using millions of global data points to support its risk screening methodology it allows investors to screen a company in one location, or across a portfolio of locations. The tool uses a three-step process - create a project, select the company's geographic locations and answer some simple questions based on your knowledge of the company. Aware™ provides the user with a detailed risk report, highlighting the high, medium, and low-level risks and gives recommendations for further action. There is no need to download any software; the tool can be used anywhere, through any web browser, all that is needed is an internet connection.

Aware for Investments™ allows investors and businesses to screen their operations for climate risks. The tool can be used as part of a business’s standard risk management procedure, giving an overview of the main risks to a company’s operations. The tool can be used to screen one location or to assess climate risk across several locations around the world. The detailed risk report showing the high, medium, and low risks to the potential investment allows investors to easily assess the potential climate risk to their current portfolio or future investments. Identifying these risks helps businesses to manage the potential climate risks to their, supply chains, infrastructure, and distribution networks.
