Page Content: Introduction to the Standing Committee on Finance 
 
The Standing Committee on Finance (SCF) assists the Conference of Parties (COP) in existing its functions with respect to the financial mechanism of the UNFCCC, in terms of improving coherence and coordination in the delivery of climate change financing, rationalization of the financial mechanism, mobilization of financial resources and measurement and reporting and verification of support to developing Parties. 
The SCF is gearing towards preparing its next Forum on the topic “Finance for nature-based solutions”. The Committee continues its preparatory work over the coming months to design the programme of the forum, collaborate with expert organizations and practitioners and conduct outreach activities.
 
The SCF’s work with the NWP
 
 The NWP will support the work of the SCF by: 
Facilitating connections with NWP partners and thematic expert group members. 
Co-producing knowledge outputs and sharing information on relevant work and engagement opportunities with a global network of partners. 
Promoting collaborations to scale up adaptation action.
