NAP Description: Virtual meeting of experts discusses joint adaptation actions and challenges
Page Content: The third and final virtual meeting for Phase II of the Lima Adaptation Knowledge Initiative (LAKI) for North Africa and GCC subregions defined joint adaptation action and discussed challenges, such as funding opportunities to support the implementation of actions.   Over the coming few months, the LAKI partners will implement activities in the plan which will contribute to closing persistent knowledge gaps in the MENA region. Progress will be showcased at events throughout the year, including UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in Glasgow in November and the Middle East and North Africa Regional Climate Week in March 2022.
